Introducing - The New YouTube Interface and Display.

YouTube has just launched its new theme and it is available to all users.

The new outlook looks refreshing.  The experience will be both in web and smartphones, undertaking a complete Material Design, refresh to make the experience cleaner and easier to focus only on videos.

New YouTube Display - 2017

New features include a change in the Channel Settings, option to go Dark Mode / Light Mode and also a full mode, appealing background picturer. Google also announced that they will be removing other features inside Youtube. The native Video Editor inside the Creator Studio "will be [completely] removed as from September 20, 2017", says YouTube.
